T-Wolves Athlete of the Week

January 11 to January 18

Athlete of the Week Christopher Chung did an excellent job this weekend at Saturday’s U12 Basketball Tournament at HKIS by pressuring the opposing team guards with superb defense, anticipation that resulted in a number of blocks and steals and assisted in a number of scoring opportunities for our team. CDNIS 1 won 6 of 7 games placing 2nd in the Cup Final.

December 7 to December 11

Athlete of the Week: Tessa Klardie G 8 U14 Girls Basketball

The point guard of the U14 girls basketball team had an outstanding tournament this past weekend at CDNIS. She showed leadership and hustled throughout the tournament often making plays happen for our team. Tessa is a very important part of our team and is a player to watch in the future. Congratulations Tessa, well done.

November 30 to December 4

Athlete of the Week: Mitchell McMaster - Ball Hockey
Mitchell demonstrated a great deal of effort during the Ball Hockey teams 2 wins last week. Mitchell had a 'Hat Trick' versus Delia helping his team to a 3-1 victory. Mitchell also played strong on both sides of the red line, which contributed to his nomination for this weekly honour.

November 2-8
Willis Wong Grade 11
Willis' outstanding performance at SEASAC Volleyball Tournament helped clinch 5th place for the Timberwolves who ended the tournament on a high note. His dominant hitting was unstoppable against United World College from Singapore and their two middle blockers presented no challenge to our Athlete of the Week.

October 18-24

Matthew Orr Grade 7

A solid player and teammate all year, Matthew Orr stepped up and once again played a key role in last weekend's U14 ISSFHK championships. His passing, and slick footwork kept his opponents guessing all match long and contributed to CDNIS taking the championship banner home. Well done Matthew!
